So, I have a new Macbook and I have been enjoying using AirPlay to stream music to my telly. Hooray. Except that it goes via my Sky Q box. And for some years Sky Q boxes freeze at random when being an AirPlay speaker..... as mine did again today. Argh. So I wont be trying that again in a hurry.

Anybody who starts a post with "Admins, please delete if not allowed." should be banned for wasting our time. Either you checked and it is allowed, or it is not allowed and the admins will delete it anyway.

I know, trivial right. My Sky Q box iPlayer app doesn't always sync what I have already watched with what I have seen on my laptop using the same BBC account. Just trying to chill and avoid the world.

Is it just me or has PGTips ruined their tea flavour by trying to make a quicker brew than their old pyramid bags? I didn't need them faster. Now I am looking for better tasting tea. Maybe it was a bad box somehow.

A big thanks to The AA (UK's Automobile Association) who helped me out quickly yesterday. A silly electrical problem diagnosed and reset. Obviously he could not replace the part - but I got home safely and can go to my garage.

Chums - a little tip. Always join your first meeting of the day a few minutes before the start time. The software used by Zoom and Teams etc seems to change very often and doesn't like backwards compatibility. This morning I joined a Zoom meeting to be told I actually needed a later version. 1/2

Companies. If you expect me to spend an hour copying my experience from my CV into your job application website then you are going to lose most of your good candidates (like me). a) even if your ATS did a rubbish job of parsing my CV that would be a better start than nothing at all.

This is a successful independent cinema which I first went to thirty years ago. The landlord wants to redevelop the block (which isn't so surprising). I got a life membership twenty years ago but lost the card.
I love this cinema. Properly independent, does lots of cool singalong and other events. Slap bang in central London. So OF COURSE some fucking landlord is trying to fuck it over. Do sign.

This is a successful independent cinema which I first went to thirty years ago. The landlord wants to redevelop the block (which isn't so surprising). I got a life membership twenty years ago but lost the card.
I like #LEGO I am an #AFOL. However I need some inspiration. What should I build myself. Preferably a wheeled vehicle, or classic space, or some reasonably easy Technic task. I am not (very) artistic so asking me to do anything natural is probably not going to be picked.
