This was a blind buy. I saw that it was written and directed by Mike Flanagan and based on a story by Stephen King. I was sold instantly. I didn't know the story but knew it was not a horror that King is more known for. But I did not expect this movie to be so deep. My favorite movie of 2025 so far.

John Woo not being involved in the 3rd film is very noticeable. The writing is all over the place, the editing is messy and the action sequences aren't nearly as good as the first 2 films.
