@getyourguide.bsky.social are trying hard to ignore the fact that I’m telling everyone on this platform, and on Instagram, that they have a morally-bankrupt policy that keeps the entire booking fee if a customer makes a typo. One typo cost me £137. And they’re happy to keep the money.

Do you use @getyourguide.bsky.social?
Are you aware that a single typo in your booking can cost you your entire booking fee (£137 in my case)?
They have even written a policy to justify it. Loyal customers like me are ending up out of pocket, with no event tickets to show for it!

@getyourguide.bsky.social have a flawed system that can cost customers money - £137 in my case! They are aware of the flaw & rather than fix it they have created a policy to justify keeping the money. This is clearly immoral. I need to know if it is also illegal. Anyone care to help me?

@getyourguide.bsky.social tell me they “understand” how frustrating it can be when they hold onto my £137 because their flawed system allowed me to make a typo. But they’re otherwise happy to do nothing to rectify the problem, allowing them to also keep the money from other customers who make typos.

Despite being logged into my regularly-used account on @getyourguide.bsky.social, I was somehow permitted by their system to make a typo. That typo cost me £137. The company say it’s all my fault, and are flat out refusing to refund me. They’ve written a policy to justify keeping my money.

Imagine you owned a company that had a flaw in its system that could cause a loyal customer money. Would you:
1. Plug the flaw
2. Create a policy which allowed you to keep the customer’s money?

Guess which option @getyourguide.bsky.social chose?

A typo cost me £137. They’re keeping the money.

@getyourguide.bsky.social reviewed the fact that a typo by me, WHILST LOGGED INTO MY OWN ACCOUNT, resulted in me losing £137. They consider the matter closed. They will keep my money. I got no tickets. All my fault, according to them - even though they *could* fix the issue - they would rather not

@getyourguide.bsky.social have told me they can “understand my disappointment” that their system allows me to enter a typo, and that their (deliberately created) policy allows them to keep *ALL OF THE FUNDS* without me getting the ticket.
I lost £137. And they are comfortable with that.
