In some good news in Aotearoa (New Zealand), the country’s High Court temporarily blocked the belief-motivated ban on puberty suppressants.
The Justice stated that there was no evidence that such care harms trans youth, but that there was evidence of harm of the contrary if proper care isn’t given

While the UK is too busy defending abusive cis men, Australia at least takes it a little more seriously.
It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s progress and I’m glad to see it.

In Aotearoa (New Zealand), the current right-wing government decided to harm kids by taking away the option for proper healthcare. In this case, specifically banning puberty pausers. Not for cis kids though, just trans kids because the harm & cruelty is the point.

We cannot keep allowing politicians to enact policies that harm people without consequences for their actions. They’re supposed to be public servants. Yet they get into power to enrich themselves and trample on the population’s wellbeing in doing so.
