Many games have mini-games related to puzzles, where you have to assemble a model from pieces to use it somewhere in the game. So I wanted to recreate that too. There is a table that needs elements to activate the process or already has some parts #gamedev #indiedev

I haven't drunk alcohol for 4+ years. The last time I drank vodka was in 2021. I've had a few bottles since then. This bottle is from 2020. Today my wife wanted to make a de-icer spray for her car because it's -12C outside. Mix vinegar, vodka, and water

On Sunday I was working on the user interface (HUD) and while walking by the terminal in the game, I realized that I needed to add the mechanics of limited camera rotation. Now the gameplay with the terminal has become 5% more realistic 🖥️🤪 it will be a surprise for the player #scifi #gaming

I never thought I'd say this. Before I moved into gamedev, I've worked in different areas (programs, mobile apps, websites) including I had to do user interfaces. I didn't like working on UI, I hated it. Now I like working on the UI in Unreal Engine for games 😜

I came up with more rules for interacting with objects. I decided that the gameplay should have more details of identification, especially when you are a robot. I won't say anything more, just show a partial prototype. Yes, I'm working on the interface right now.

I promised to show you a way I came up with to make glowing text in the UI, a very simple Unreal Engine material imitation, because there is no glow in the widget. I used SpiralBlur - Texture node ;) #UnrealEngine #UE5 #gamedev

Sunday with Unreal Engine, I created a material for a battery screen, which can have 4 states: discharged, charged, charging and giving off energy. There are no textures here, I generate everything inside material. I like it, it looks like a sci-fi
