This is evident in the success of the Age of Krakoa (with the incredible world building of Arakko) and also the run of the Eternals during the same time where they weren't treated as just "superheroes"

It is this love of the original material and devotion to proper world building that I feel is the panacea to many "superhero" comics whose characters aren't strictly "superheroes"

It's not that far off if you remember the Pre-Crisis Earth-1 and Earth-2. The Earth-2 Hawkman was always presented as very conservative and Earth-1 Hawkman was a literal alien cop #AbsoluteDC

With that being said this whole "Age of Revelation" arc is giving geriatric Age of Apocalypse vibes. It's like they want to get the feeling of the Age of Krakoa back without admitting that they fucked it up by ending it.

I wish DC would get a solid Legion of Superheroes series up and running. It's one of the biggest casualties of the original Crisis. Root it in Atompunk aesthetics and run with it. Can you imagine if Johnathan Hickman wrote it?!!!

The non profit that I work for has just removed our Executive Director (who was a weight to us) and we now are implementing a co-executive director model. I love it! We're taking hold of the destiny of this organization so that we can fully serve this community!
