🚨 Earlier this week, @FCC voted to cut key student connectivity programs.
A coalition including @All4Ed @CoSN @EdTrust @NEAToday @nationalparent @southernedfound & others pushed back, citing harm to low-income & rural students—and a lack of transparency in the process.
We’re deeply grateful to @@carnegiecorp.bsky.social for their generous support of @All4Ed.org State Policy Center. This investment strengthens our work with state leaders to advance equitable education policies and expand college & career pathways for all students. #EduSky

The Nation’s report card shows we are in a literacy crisis. This #NationalLiteracyMonth, we demand meaningful investments in our nation’s public schools for evidence-based literacy instruction, teacher training, and expanded access to books and high-quality learning opportunities for all children.
Internet access = educational access. Ending Wi-Fi hotspot + bus connectivity funding hurts millions of students, especially low-income, rural, and students of color. The FCC must allow students to plug back in.
