The people out there reporting these atrocities are heroes.
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

I'll say this much- this terror you're feeling? Some of us have been living with since 2016. Some of us since 2001. Some of us since the 1600s. No one should have to feel like this ever.

The books you read, the television you watch, the websites you frequent, the food you eat, the people you keep company with... a large part of life involves being responsible for what goes into you. You gotta be a gatekeeper. Keep the garbage out, yo.
