i wrote every movie on my watchlist on a piece of paper, folded them up and put them in a jar. whatever movie i pull out of the jar, i HAVE to watch. first up was The Needle, a 1988 kazakh new wave movie starring viktor tsoi as a guy trying to help his gf get off drugs. effortlessly cool.
