I’m not surprised by the rights attack on the BBC. I warned before that extremists and as we witness now and some politicians too believe controlling free media is their only way to dominate the democratic world. The evidence keeps growing,this is why I sounded the alarm long ago.

It’s truly disgusting and heartbreaking to see the far-right and a handful of hate preachers spewing their poison even on the day of remembrance a day that holds deep meaning for many nations and allies who shaped our shared history. These criminals must be held accountable,condemned and stopped.

Sudan’s tragedy continues as the international community remains largely indifferent to the human suffering, while Washington and the Quartet hesitate to end the conflict, fearful of confronting their allies’ evil interests.

The conflict within the BBC, in my view, isn’t between leftists and the right. It’s a struggle between the far right and independent professional journalists. The campaigns led by the opposition and tabloid press aim to tip the scales in favor of that far-right faction inside the BBC.

Frankly, I fear Elon Musk mirrors the figures who controlled Radio Rwanda, 1930s propagandists, or Yugoslav media tycoons, voices that fueled hatred and division through powerful platforms. History warns us about such megaphones.

Personal opinion: You can’t truly understand history unless you can mentally transport yourself to its time and place, feel what people felt, examine it’s facts and live their reality. The same applies to understanding your faith if its roots lie in history.
