If either one is a secret, then the whole thing is a spoiler and I can't talk about it freely 🙄

+ often it comes off as "self-hating gays are evil for that reason" if the gayness is a late plot twist, or "being trans made them *abnormally* unstable" if the villain part is a late plot twist

I have figured out that I mostly love queer villains, but only when neither of those things (queerness or villain status) are secrets

If even one is a secret I generally am frustrated, or at best emotionally disconnected
