On my periodic re-watch of The West Wing I’ve arrived at the episode that talks about the HPV vaccine, it was still in development then. A few years later it will be approved and and just in time so that my mom will have both me and my sister take it.

The only thing causing autism (or ADHD for that matter) is natural selection. There is a reason these types of traits exist, they benefit the entire population. Like, honestly, who do you think came up with the first written alphabet or counting system? 8/x

Seriously, and I cannot emphasize this enough, fuck this guy. He's a modern day Josef Mengele. Neurodiversity is part of human biodiversity. Autistic traits were evolutionarily selected for. They exist in every population, which means they existed when our ancestors left Africa millennia ago 7/x
