I’m sure that’s part of it! I’m more just perplexed by the bizzare middle-school-esque writing styles popping up more & more. Like there’s always been pulp trashy literature but even going back a decade or two ago the writing styles were at least more bearable lol

Like genuinely is it a nepotism thing? Bc I’ve seen so so so many talented writers & artists get rejected from publishing agencies but then THESE are the best sellers??? I’m just confused by it lol

Instagram is fascinating bc it’s taken me 4 years to go from 10k to 10.2k whereas mutuals will go up from like 5k to 27k in the span of six months lol

Like it boggles my mind how backwards we are wrt how we treat disability/aging. For a generation who spouts “respect your elders” they can’t even help themselves with healthcare or disability aids because we’ve turned the word “disabled” into something evil apparently. Ah well. Tldr, be kind.

I always see comments on social media on little gadgets or whatever that are always “ugh these are useless, nobody needs this.” Buddy you probably will need that bottle opener someday! If you don’t need it now then it’s not for you!

I need ppl to understand that it doesn’t matter if you were born with one or not; you WILL become disabled at some point in your lifetime. Be it age, accident, genetics, etc. Mental or physical. It WILL happen. We won’t be able-bodied forever.

Helping disabled folks helps EVERYONE!
