If this is the local PC AI that Microsoft are doing in public, how scary is the stuff they don't show? Your PC is going to read everything and do everything without your say, very soon! 😬 share.google/hPYLgFzu0QCW...

I slowed down my clock speed in the hope that it would increase the CPU speed of my XT. I used a programmable oscillator too. Here's what happened!

Just casually getting some time with my favourite loafer in a Leisure Suit. On my XT, of course. 😁

If you're a fan of the movie Sneakers, the late Robert Redford (RIP) or just geeky things, you can ssh into [email protected] and watch the movie in glorious 24-bit colour ANSI :) Enjoy!

Here's a version of @viti95.bsky.social's FastDoom with keyboard code that should work on an XT.

I just spent far too much money on this thing. The Intel Inboard was a way to upgrade your PC or XT to have a 386 CPU. It gave you the opportunity to run 32-bit software despite having an 8-bit bus. I want to run extended memory apps, this is /apparently/ the only way!

This VHS tape sized subnotebook from 1997 was really innovative for its time; but was it any good? Let's look at the Toshiba Libretto 100CT! youtu.be/uAlhPwcHbdo?...

And since I'm new here, I'll introduce myself to #retrocomputing too, with my latest YouTube video, which covers Windows 3.0 on a real 286 PC and an in-place upgrade to Windows 3.1
