Olympic National Park in Washington State gets described as “three parks in one” so often it sounds like marketing.

It’s a former samurai city, not an imperial one, so the history feels quieter and more lived-in. Fewer temples, more everyday streets, beautiful gardens, and way less pressure to rush around.
