Idk, maybe sharing that piece was my way of gaining some control, in believing that one doesn’t have to resort to violence and death even as true peace is not always possible, but trying for it is worth it if it means to create a world where kids don’t have to get killed.

I keep thinking how both men associated with Itachi – Shisui and Kisame – are somehow tied to water. Water is in Shisui's name, water is connected to Kisame's nature, they both died in water.
