He didn't drink himself, but a little tipple was always popular with the neighbours and sold for a decent price too.

As promised, the berries were indeed fresh. They were sweet, but not overly so, and burst in Illtyd's mouth with flavourful juice that stained his tongue purple for a brief moment.

Calix happily ate his own berries, licking the escaped juice from his lips with a shy smile.
