STOMPY HAS A FRIEND!

Meet our new emu ambassador, Nolie 💚

Nolie is a ~5 year old female emu that was a pet to a private owner who moved and couldn’t take her with, so now she will be with us here at Alveus to help teach people about the impacts of owning exotic pets.

Eva (left) is a Mexican Red Rump Tarantula and Kiwi (right) is a Honduran Curly Hair Tarantula. They'll be here to help people overcome their misconceptions about spiders and teach how important spiders are in our ecosystems.

DID YOU KNOW:

The Corpse Flower, like our ambassador Stinky, is one of the largest and rarest flowering plants in the world! It takes around 7-10 years for it to produce a full flowering structure 🌺

So Stinky will eventually grow to be around 6-8 ft tall!!

Awa was brave the other day and went inside the indoor wolf enclosure all on her own (without using food/treats to get her inside)

She is normally very afraid so this is a big step for her 🥺
