it’s been a heavy week but I went to a book fair at a local brewery, bought a blind date with a book, a beautiful pressed-flower bookmark, and a donut (lemon meringue, not pictured, already devoured). a little self-indulgent but life can end at any moment so why the fuck not.

anyway, pacrim au ended up being the longest thing i’ve written (& completed) at around 55k words. it’s still got another round of last minute edits & revisions before it goes up but i’m sooo happy it’s done. i was a liar and my last chapter turned into 17k words and i had to break it up 😅

my grandma’s been in the hospital in PH for >1mo. & it’s been stressful liaising remotely w my mom who traveled back, but I’ve been handling it ok since I never knew her that well
