Characteristically, I am going to push back on this both sides argument. Yes, there are extreme elements that rose in both parties due to districts, becoming redder and bluer. But the GOP has actual Nazis in it,. The Democrats, as far as I know, don’t actually have any Stalinists.
I blame both the Republicans and the Democrats. Both parties let the extremists take over and now we get whipsawed between the extremes every election cycle. Both put party ahead of all else. To hell will both of them.
