They took down the entire corpus of the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (a gold standard survey that helps us understand many things about US adolescents) because it asked a single question about transgender identity. The depth of the attempts at erasure are staggering as well as intensely wasteful.

Teen smartphone owners get on average 237 notifications a day. The WIRED video @merylalper.bsky.social shared below does a great job digging into the history of notifications and why they’re so challenging to manage for adults and youth.
