Tonight, we farewelled my dear friend Yee. For 5yrs, Yee has been by my side, through study, Covid, musicals, animation collaborations + pregnancy and I’m incredibly sad to see her move back home. She’s also been such an important part of our game dev community working on 3 local Melbourne games 🥺🩷

Took the ‘Don’t kill yourself for a job’ a little too seriously last week, when my apartment building was on fire and I was working from home, completely oblivious 🙈

Only realised after a text to residents explaining the smell, once all cleared by firefighters.

I woke up to a toddler riverdancing his way through the house this morning. Which, of course, led to an impromptu hallway jig down the apartment block and straight into daycare like two caffeinated leprechauns on tour.

I need coffee. Possibly a nap. Maybe a new identity.
