Hi new blue sky people! I’m Ambie and I like board games, puzzle games, jigsaw puzzles, and other stuff. I make a bunch of content for board games and puzzle games too.

On here I post about all that stuff, plus other hobbies and things my kids (5yo twins) say/do. So it’s a mishmash of my interests!

I was considering asking my kids if they wanted to record with me (this is for my upcoming 5 games for 5yos video) so maybe this is a sign that I should record it with them

I always double (and triple) check that the camera is recording in the middle and I thought I saw the audio recoding too on my computer but I failed to notice that it was just a flat line 🙁

* 3d printed a mount for shotgun mic to go on camera
* got mic all set up and tested
* have 15 minutes before need to pick up kids
* film video and finish just in time! Yay!
* realize the mic was muted the whole time 😭
(If the camera audio is good enough, I’m just gonna be using that)

It was a review copy - I enjoyed it, I liked that I’d have to pass away cards when I had the perfect hand and then it was tense seeing what the last card I got passed was. Or I guess I didn’t like passing away the perfect cards but that made for a fun game 😆

My twins are in bed and 10 minutes ago I overheard part of their conversation:
Twin B: “Bye, I’m going to bed.”
Twin A: “No, BYE! I’M going to bed!”

…and they’re both still chatting now.

Also I gotta share my cakes - this is my first year using professional icing bags and tips, and it is sooo much easier and quicker than a ziploc bag with a hole in it! 😂
Requests were Saja Boys and “fancy” cake.

Today was my kids’ birthday party and they had a lot of fun! I’m exhausted but also relieved because now all the lead up to the party is done and I’m looking forward to having time for other things again!

This took way too long for me to fold, but now I’m thinking of making another one
(It’s for a bday card for my kid who’s super into kpop demon hunters, and I’m now thinking of doing the same idea for my other kid but with the evil queen from Snow White since that’s his current obsession)

My kids also helped sing the chorus - and this was years in the making because some of those recordings are from a couple years ago 😆

I’ve been 3d printing a lot of useful stuff, but yesterday I had the 3d printer print a bunch of these toys as party favors for my kid’s Saja Boys themed birthday party! It’s amazing how many neat designs people have made!

A plastic keychain tiger from KPop Demon Hunters, 3d printed with 3 colors (blue body, white paws and teeth, and yellow eyes). The “chain” of the keychain is an elastic band.

I had actually found out about hidden messages a couple years ago but didn’t realize there was smaller print that hidden messages older than 30 days don’t show up, so you have to keep clicking “show more” until you see them all

I was checking messages on instagram and just found out that instagram hides some requests so they don’t show up under the requests tab (and don’t show a notification) unless you click under show hidden requests. So I had some messages from 2018 that I had never seen…
