Amelbury Chapter 1, pg 27 and 28 #Amelbury

panel 1 - Later...
a distant shot showing the silhouettes of Ann and Ormer walking out of the park.

Ormer: "Where are all the people that need help?"
Ann: "What kind of class needs superhero stuff, anyway?"
Ormer: "That detail doesn't matter--"

panel 2 - a closer shot of both of them.

Ormer: "What does matter is finding something so you can look all heroic, and I can get cool footage."
Ann: "Then I get paid."
Ormer: "Of course!"

panel 1-2 - Ormer explaining to Ann and then the next panel is both of them brought to attention.

Ormer: "Since this is real life, we can't expect to just stumble into-"
He's interrupted by a voice off screen, "HELP!"

panel 3 - Ann and Ormer are running awkwardly towards the cry for help.

panel 4 - They both make it to the source of the outcry. Ormer is winded, asking the old woman they come to, "W-what's wrong, ma'am?"

panel 5 - a shot looking down on the three of them, with a cat above on a branch. the old woman is pointing upwards saying, "My cat's stuck in a tree."

panel 6 - Ann is stone faced asking, "How." While Ormer is gasping in excitement. He's looking at Ann while whispering to himself, "A classic hero's dilemma!"

panel 1 - Ormer wiping away the tears from laughing, "No, but seriously, I hope that you're not hurt."

panel 2-3 - shots of Ormer and Ann extending hands to one another.

Ormer: "I'm Ormer, by the way!"
Ann: "Ann Ngo."

panel 4 - a wide shot of both the characters shaking hands. a speech bubble next to them reading "Nice to meet you!"

panel 1 - Ormer is putting his index fingers together while looking to the side rambunctiously. "Um so... Could I record you? I need it for a project." he asks.

panel 2-3 - the blank expression of Ann before a shot of her comically turning to walk away. Ormer shouts, "Wait!" after her

panel 4-5 - same panel format as the last two panels, it's a shot of Ormer's face shouting, "I'll p-pay!" confidently and then a similar shot of Ann turning, but this time to face him.

panel 1-2 - Ann stands up looking down at her boots

Ann: "Came here to find out and so far, It's just weirdly snug around the toes."

panel 3-5 - various images of the boots Ann is wearing as she is trying to adjust to their fit. the last panel there is a click

Ann: "Not exactly tight it's just, like I have barely any room to-"

panel 6 - a shot of Ann being launched into the air and splatting down onto the ground a couple meters away.

panel 1 - Ormer jumps up and leans over the table. He's got a look of concern on his face as he asks her, "Are you okay?"
Ann flatly responds with, "No."

panel 2-3 - Panels show ann getting up from her lying position why she explains, "Boots launched me in the air, busted my ass..."

panel 4 - Ann approaches the table with a hand on her back. She's got a smile on her face while Ormer is laughing while sprawled out on the top.

Ann: "Yeah yeah, OK, laugh at a stranger's pain."

Amelbury Chapter 1, pg 21 and 22 #Amelbury

panel 1-3 - Ormer looks on from the park table he sits at watching some folks skateboard. He lets out a big sigh

panel 4- Ormer puts his face against his fist, "What am I going to do?"

panel 5 - He's caught off guard as a loud thump is heard from behind him.

panel 1-2 - He looks behind himself at the other side of the table to see a stranger, Ann, putting on the boots from earlier.

panel 3 - Ormer leans over the table to talk to Ann,

Ormer: "Hi."
Ann: "Hi."
Ormer: "Whatcha' Doin?"
Ann: "Putting on boots."
Ormer: "Why are they so sci-fi lookin?"

panel 4-5 - Ann responds, with a couple of shots showing both her face and the boots in question, "I don't know. I just found them on the ground, honestly."

panel 6- a somewhat awkward silence in the park as Ormer watches her finish putting on her boots and Ann seems to be semi annoyed.

Amelbury Chapter 1, pg 19 and 20 #Amelbury

panel 1 and 2 - shots of the smoke and burning pieces of the car that Dr. Omega had thrown at Ormer.

panel 3 - Ormer walking down the street with the wreckage behind him, a singular burning tire rolls past him down the road. He looks disappointed more than anything, thinking to himself, "I almost died and didn't even get footage for my homework."

panel 4 - Ormer continues to walk, this time in front of a fence. there's plenty of open sky above him.

panel 1-3 -

Various shots of a park entrance, the sky above said park, and finally Ormer sitting alone at a park table. This is obviously a skate park of sorts, but feels awfully lonely.

Amelbury Chapter 1, pg 17 and 18 #Amelbury

panel 1 - Ormer looks at the camera that he had been carrying lying on the ground.

panel 2 - Prime-Ape has an enraged look while Dr. Omega shouts from offscreen, "Let's put those tires to the test then!"

panel 3 - Ormer is crawling on the ground grabbing his camera while the back and forth continues. Prime-Ape retorts with, "I'll chase you across the city to stop you, Omega!"

panel 4-7 - Ormer scrambles to get his camera shot of the chase between Dr. Omega and Prime-Ape.

panel 1 - Ormer's arm shoots down in disappointment as the hero and villain are gone. he thinks, "they're gone."

panel 2 - a shot showing the cloud of smoke from the burning car from the perspective of some streets over.

panel 3 - A shot of Ormer's face. He isn't very happy. "Damn..." he mutters in disappointment.

Battle of Wits #Amelbury

panel 1-2 - a shot from above showing both Ormer and Prime-Ape in astonishment while a figure floats above them. The figure says "Tsk Tsk Tsk"

panel 3- The figure is shown to be some kind of chimpanzee wearing a lab coat who has a clear dome exposing his brain underneath. He is floating above Prime-Ape, who has mechanical limbs unfolding out from behind her. He shouts antagonistically beneath himself, "Prime-Ape once again saving humans!"

panel 4-5 - first a closeup of his villainous face before the next panel he begins to monologue. Prime-Ape's mechanical limbs are lifting her off the ground from below.

He continues, "Your sympathy, it's pathetic. it's what makes you weak. Your love for these lowly humans has slowed you down!"

a single splash page featuring Prime-Ape below shouting up at the dastardly Dr. Omega above.

Prime-Ape - "The Wheel of Justice may turn slowly, but it arrives just the same!"

Dr. Omega - "Ah, but the Slope of Evil is too steep for your wheel to climb!"

Prime-Ape - "Good uses the Four-Wheeled Drive of Justice with the Traction Tires of Truth!"

Dr. Omega - "Fool! Crime is the ice that will slide you to your demise!"

Prime-Ape - "As long as there is virtue, it will always be the anti-freeze to your schemes, Dr. Omega!"

Just Like TV #Amelbury

Amelbury Chapter 1, pg 13 and 14

panel 1-2 - Prime-Ape stands, shadows grow to create a serious tone as she stares dead on

panel 3 - the superhero lights up with a grand smile while she says, "No problem!"

panel 4 - Ormer watches kinda awkwardly while Prime-Ape points towards the air in a declarative manner away from him while saying, "For it is that a hero never rests, never sleeps... does not even sit for a moment until the innocents of our society are safe from the clutches of evil!"

panel 5 - Ormer has a wide smile on his face, agreeing with Prime-Ape. His thoughts however read, "Oh my gosh, she actually talks like this in real life? I thought the shows were just exaggerating."

panel 6- we cut back to Prime-Ape, who seems even more sure of herself, declaring, "Glad to hear not everyone has stopped believing in heroes!"

panel 7- her eyes widen as a large BOOM takes up the frame behind her

panel 8 - Both Ormer and the heroine, Prime-Ape, turn to where the sound came from.

Amelbury Chapter 1, pg 11 and 12

panel 1 - Ormer and Prime-Ape bounce along the road away from the burning wreckage.

panel 2-4 - Ormer looks up to notice the carnage that he had narrowly avoided. If he hadn't been saved just then he most certainly would've died.

panel 5- Ormer stares on at the wreckage while a hand extends behind him

panel 6-7 - Prime-Ape stares down at him, half of her body cast in shadow from the fire nearby. She is still extending a hand to Ormer to help him to his feet.
She says, "Are you okay, citizen?"

panel 8- Ormer accepts the hand while thinking, "Prime-Ape"

panel 9- now on his feet, Ormer stand a bit awkwardly. He finally responds to Prime-Ape, "uh yeah, thanks."

panel 2-5 - a shot of Ormer as some kind of shadow slowly creeps over his form, he turns back until it's just a closeup of his terrified eye.

the anchor's broadcast message continues throughout these panels, "Today marks the 38th Anniversary since Solar Sentinel Left Earth...
with so many near miss disasters recently, citizens ar ewondering, just how safe are we without him?"

panel 6 - taking up an entire page is the shot of a car careening at the silhouetted figure of Ormer as the text VOOOOM erupts from the vehicle.

Pages 5 and 6 of Amelbury, Chapter 1

Panel 1-3 - Ormer walks past a window with televisions displayed. They are all set to the news and blaring audio from the broadcast. At first he merely walks away, but something draws his attention back to watch.

The news states, "Witnesses are saying the object came from space.
believe to be a meteor, it came crashing down into Amelbury's port, injuring 6 by the resulting wave."

Panel 4-5 - a news anchor is shown. He's a sad fellow with a suit just a little too big for him. in the corner of the broadcast we see some smoke or steam bellowing from the port's water, the next panel showing another angle of the port, this time with some vehicles gathered around the site.

The anchor says, "Property damage is minimal, with the Diadem Mining Company once again taking over cleanup."

Panel 6 - a series of calendars with dates crossed off, going up to November. the broadcast continues,
"this is the 5th Meteor this year to crash in the Amelbury area, almost one meteor every two months.
Additionally,"

Pages 3 and 4 of Amelbury, Chapter 1

Panel 1-3 - the woman wipes her face off after having coughed up a lung. Something draws her notice behind her as she pulls out some strange looking boots that lay behind her. She exclaims, "Huh?"

Panel 4 - the woman stares ahead, still sitting, at the smoke/steam rising out of the water in front of her. she simply says to herself aloud, "I need to leave."

Panel 5-11 - we transition to a new scene, somewhere else in the city. the panels slowly draw closer to this new character, holding a camera and thinking. He walks past a couple of people and some buildings while thinking.

"Oh Ormer,
why'd you have to wait till the last bloody minute to do your project?
This is gonna' suck wandering around town all day long.
Ugh.
Just get the footage and turn it in tonight."

Panel 2 - KASPWISH as something smashes into the water, sending a giant wave

Panel 3 - the wave crashes down on the dockworkers, their screams being shown as the force of the wave pushes them.

Panel 4 - smoke or steam is trailing out of the water as the water retreats back into the ocean. a figure is lying down on the dock on her back.

panel 5-7 - the figure sits still for several moments before animating and coughing up water

panel 8 - the dockworker woman sits up, still coughing.
