I said "eff it" and set my federal to 0 for the foreseeable future. I weighed my liability and decided it was worth it to keep *my money* from being spent on things I never consented to. I've stashed what I anticipate I'll owe, and the rest I've spent on mutual aid and community building.

If I sent my whole department home on paid leave just because I didn't want to work on some project I disagreed with and refused to make them return, I would be fired on the spot.

Why can this freak do it when the rest of us can't? If they're not working why should we pay them?

Who does Johnson think he’s fooling?! Dude sent the House home early to dodge a vote on releasing the Epstein files, and he’s keeping them away for the same reason.

Congress is still getting paid, but Johnson won’t bring the House back to fund the military. This is on him, not the Democrats.

Living in a farming community, I can confirm this. Farmers have crops still in the fields rotting b/c there's no market. They're starting to destroy perfectly good food b/c there's nowhere else to send it, and it's ALL trump's fault. Why would they expend this time & effort next year for naught?
