Yes! Our Blood Donor App, launched in 2014, allows donors to track the journey of their donation, including when it is shipped to a hospital.

In addition to the app, our donors with specific blood types may also receive direct mail or email notification when their donation is shipped to a hospital.

After a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines on Tuesday, Philippine Red Cross teams were quick to respond.

They provided first aid and sent blood donations to hospitals to help people who were hurt. Their fast action is making a big difference for families dealing with the aftermath.

This is one of the Build-A-Bear teddy bears Jordyn Johnstone’s family received after losing everything in a home fire. Our volunteers brought them as a surprise when they showed up to help.

“Receiving those bears let me know everything was going to be okay,” she said.

Lifeguard Katelyn Williams didn’t just save Billy Austin’s life. She gained a father figure. ❤️

Katelyn used her Red Cross CPR training when Billy collapsed during cardiac arrest at the YMCA. Now, they talk every day, and he even came to her prom send-off.
