Don't think you can really say we deserved more than a point today.

Couldn't make the man advantage count. It's good to have the attacking players back, but probably fair to say there's a degree of rustiness to all of them.

2 wins and a draw in a very hard week not a bad return though.

Quite the half. You could really feel the absence of Saliba AND Gabriel in the Arsenal performance.

Red card 100% deserved, but we also have 4 players on yellow cards and it won't take much for it to become 10 v 10.

Think the manager needs to be smart, lower some of thoseodds from the bench at HT

That's a game we should have won, a much better second half from us, and two excellent goals to go ahead.

Arsenal's defence has been a real strength this season, but we were found wanting on both the Sunderland goals.

They made it very tough, but having gone ahead, we should have held on.

What a effing goal

Travelling around makes you realise how bad traffic compliance is bad in India. Even more so in Mumbai in last few years. Cars let pedestrians cross. No honking. Wait within lane markers. No arbitrary turns. Keep lanes open for turns. It’s so peaceful.

Driving, walking is a nightmare in India.

Another 2-0 to the Arsenal!

Solid if unspectacular, lovely finish from Rice to put us 1-0 up after Eze should have done earlier. No mistake from Saka from the spot after Timber fouled.

West Ham offered so little, we controlled this one pretty easily.

Top of the table (for now), Interlull ahoy!

I think my heartbeat is normal (ish) now.

Massive effort to come back and win that game. Merino's value for moments like that is worth acknowledging, and Big Gabi is just a colossus. Made up for that 1st half error to win it.

We've been overdue 3 points at their place, and it feels really good!

Super goal by Martinelli. What a week for him.

But arteta needs to be brave.

That really felt like a game that Arsenal and Mikel Arteta just could not lose.

A special goal to equalise late on, but the way we dominated Man City with that second half performance, with the players we had on the pitch, will be a source of regret.

We should be braver from the start.

Very scruffy half. Not overly concerned when Athletic come forward, despite some dangerous moments. This Rice/Merino combo isn't doing it for me, though. As was the case at Anfield, it feels like we're lacking someone to connect midfield and attack.

First half observations.

- Superb hit from Zubimendi
- Madueke v lively
- Mosquera v assured
- Eze a little peripheral
- Gyokeres trying to get involved but not much service
- Odegaard unlucky
- RefCam is absolute fucking shite

A great way to get the home season going. 5 goals, 2 for Gyokeres which will ease the pressure, a clean sheet, and an impactful debut for 15 year old Max Dowman.

Bitter-sweet though because of the injuries, losing Saka and Odegaard ahead of a trip to Anfield a real worry, but a fantastic win ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

Really not very much to like about the performance from Arsenal, but you can't complain too much about a win at Old Trafford given our record there.

LOADS for the manager to do to improve the performance levels, but delighted to start with three points!

Rare for the silver lining to be the result, but that was genuinely atrocious from Arsenal.

Fine, we kept the clean sheet, but there was nothing authoritative about that performance at all. Huge improvement needed.

Not a great match. Work needed.

Arsenal look like a team in transition. Also most teams have figured them out. Low block and counter.

Just a lot of random thoughts. I don’t want war. There is an immediate need for deescalation. But part of me also thinks that a response was required. Of course there is a need for audit of lapses. Finding out the perpetrators and bringing them to justice. Long term peace measures.
