BREAKING: government’s decision to proscribe Palestine Action under terrorism law ruled UNLAWFUL

This matters for everyone.

For years, the right to protest has been under sustained and deliberate attack.

Thousands of people have been arrested for something that should have never been a crime.

Wes Streeting is right… Israel is committing war crimes against Palestinians.

What is damning is that @wesstreeting-mp.bsky.social is part of a government that has continued business as usual with Israel despite its war crimes and genocide in Gaza.

Lai was charged with “collusion with a foreign country or external elements” under the Beijing's National Security Law. In reality, his case is an attack on press freedom & freedom of expression.

Thank you Pep Guardiola for using your platform.

Governments killing, displacing and dehumanising millions across the world want to make us think it's normal.

But Guardiola is right.

We can't look away. And we cannot accept it.

Thank you to the many artists - including Olivia Dean, Billie Eilish and Bad Bunny - for using their acceptance speeches at the Grammys to reject the rise in anti-immigration narratives and policies peddled by those in the media and in power.

The ability to generate sexually explicit, non-consensual images using AI isn't just a matter of online safety - it strikes at the core of the right to dignity, privacy & equality. These technologies are fuelling misogyny & harassment when young people are already overwhelmed by women-hating content

The UK government signalling they may unblock arms sales to Israel is deeply troubling.

Let’s not be fooled by talk of “ceasefires” or “peace.” Israel’s genocide in Gaza has not stopped. Killings have continued. The illegal blockade remains as does the system of apartheid.

The protests in Iran are the largest protests since the #WomanLifeFreedom uprising of 2022.

The nationwide protests started in Tehran on 28 December, and quickly spread to other cities across the country.

The international community must press the Iranian authorities to stop the bloodshed.

We urge David Lammy to immediately authorise a senior official to meet with the legal representatives of Heba Muraisi & Kamran Ahmed - both on prolonged hunger strike & at extreme risk of death.

Their representatives have repeatedly requested this meeting & it is now critical to prevent a tragedy.
