I think there is a chance that if BYU upsets Texas Tech that the Red Raiders could fall below Notre Dame.
I think the CFP picture is pretty simple.
BYU and Alabama can cause some havoc.
BYU loss -> out
Alabama loss -> maybe out?
Notre Dame is safe.
Miami and Texas on the outside looking in.

James Madison’s schedule is very poor so maybe the committee knocks them a good bit but I don’t know. I could be totally wrong here.

The concerning thing for Michigan this year is that despite being the youngest team in the Big Ten is that they haven’t been competitive against the three best teams on their schedule.
There should be some changes in Ann Arbor this offseason if they want to compete.
