saw a cool reference in twt so i had it as an opportunity to draw my detco OCs

(from left to right: chise, yasuha/kagari, soichiro/armagnac, and my new BO OC with a hime cut hair — codenamed "barbaresco".. i will put more details about her later)

as well yuu kashima from nozaki-kun, given that she is a female character with androgynous looks, and being described as a "prince". also to put that she got girls swoon on her.

+ kagari is still haunted with her inability to protect people she cherished (which has something to do with her past).

also to put she has a striking white hair (though her hair was originally brown before it turned white because of a traumatic experience.

as well.. even though she appears to fool around and having a tendency to tease her superiors (especially kazami with him being a yoko okino fanboy). she is dedicated to her job and tries to help people and as well protecting japan.

speaking on what she's like as an OC — she has her qualities [mostly] inspired after gintoki from gintama.

kagari has a sweet tooth like she enjoys parfaits and strawberry milk so much that it placed her at risk getting diabetes several times.

i came up with naoto (尚人) as an alternate, and masculine version for the name "naomi" (which is the given name for cagalli's OG VA), since naomi is already taken for naomi argento from detco m26.

and naoko is way too girly alternative name. for someone like her "who looks like a bishie"

tho "yasuha" from her real name is a spoof of "athha" (アスハ, asuha) from her (cagalli) last name

her "undercover name" naoto, is rather peculiar on paper (since it is a man's name).

of course, if i had to make an OC named after kira, then he should have a twin sibling named after cagalli

yasuha — together with her twin brother soichiro) has a troubled past. once again, the twins' lore is kinda dark even in detco standards.. i'll guess i have to drop the twins' lore soon.

unfortunately, the twins have some sort of hate against each other.

like the two characters mentioned, soichiro/armagnac has a rather easygoing and playful personality, but also has a serious side — which only happens when he's pissed off

i mean, the cosmic era gundam is pretty popular in japan (with UC being the very obvious), so.. that's why i decided with kira

naming him after kira feels funny because they are absolutely complete opposites in terms of personality 😂😂

speaking from the inspiration of his creation, of course let's start with the origin of his name:

like detco characters with gundam-inspired names like rei (amuro), hiro (heero), kazami (kamille).. soichiro kira is derived from kira yamato (and soichiro hoshi.. his voice claim, who's also kira VA)

behind his somewhat "sadistic vibe", he has a troubled past. to be honest, sharing the twins' lore feels dark even by detco standards.. their lore fits more in a "mature seinen" (like monster).

i guess i'll share the twins' expanded lore someday..
