Mom of Teddy, George, and Ellie. Wife of Erik. Former Marine. F/A-18 pilot. Proud American. Proud Kentuckian.
Great night at Northern Kentucky University’s “Salute to Service” game as they took on Eastern Kentucky. Proud to cheer on both teams and honor those who serve.

When the President of the United States calls for the execution of elected officials for speaking truth to power, it’s a direct attack on our democracy.

Grocery prices are up, wages aren’t, and Kentucky families are paying the price.

How are we supposed to “Make America Healthy Again” if leaders keep undermining healthcare?

Everything they’re doing moves us backward. Raising insurance premiums, shutting down rural hospitals, and making it harder to pursue healthcare degrees isn’t how you build a stronger, healthier country.

Can someone explain how a theologian is more “professional” than a nurse practitioner? The Dept. of Ed’s new “professional degree” rules cut women-dominated fields like healthcare and social work from higher loan limits, pushing women out and worsening our workforce shortages.

Watching Donald Trump call a woman reporter “piggy” and then berate another for simply doing her job is absolutely unacceptable behavior. Our kids deserve leaders they can admire, leaders who show respect. We need to demand better for them and for our country.

I stopped by Beechwood High School to discuss what it’s like running for political office & why standing by your values matters now more than ever.

The students in Mr. Fletcher’s social studies class were sharp & asked truly insightful questions.

I am inspired by the next generation of leaders.

After talking with cattle producers today at the North American International Livestock Expo in Louisville, one thing is clear. Trump’s move to import Argentine beef is hurting their business. Kentucky farmers deserve better leadership.

Honored to attend the unveiling of OneQuest Heath in Northern Kentucky (formerly called the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky). They provide amazing mental health support for Kentucky families, thanks to the leadership of Rick Wurth.

Henderson County, you always show up. Good company, good conversations, and the kind of fried chicken that could win elections.

The “big, beautiful bill” Republicans are cheering on will rip health care away from Kentuckians by cutting Medicaid and putting up to 35 rural hospitals at risk of closing. Kentucky families deserve better than politicians who gamble with their lives. Join my campaign today at AmyMcGrath.com

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served. Today we honor the women and men who raised their right hand, served our country, and sacrificed so much for something bigger than themselves. I’m proud to have worn the uniform and to stand alongside so many incredible Americans.

Before this Senate deal to end the shutdown moves forward we need to talk about what’s really in it, and why it’s a bad idea.

Over the weekend, I had the chance to visit with folks in Owensboro and at the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse. I was reminded of the strength, faith, and resilience that make Kentucky such a special place.

The Trump administration is ordering states to take back the food assistance they’ve already given to millions of struggling families.

This isn’t fiscal responsibility. It’s cruelty. Republicans in Congress are refusing to stand up to Trump even when it hurts their own constituents.
Trump administration tells states to ‘undo’ full SNAP benefits
New guidance from USDA on Saturday informs states to move ahead with partial food stamp payments only given the Supreme Court stay.

Many Kentuckians voted for Trump because they believed his campaign promises to make life more affordable. Instead, they’re facing higher prices & broken promises. His tariffs are driving costs up & families across Kentucky are feeling it every time they buy groceries, with no relief in sight.
