Stephen Miller says the president has “plenary authority.” What they really believe is that the president can use the military, including the National Guard, to police our own cities.

Our troops have better things to do than stand around & pick up trash. This is unacceptable.

People in Kentucky voted for lower prices and relief from rising costs. Instead, we’re seeing more inflation, higher bills, and a harder life for many.

This isn’t what people asked for.

I’m on my way to Doves of Gateway in Morehead, KY, for the official signing of the proclamation designating October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

A bill passed over the summer that cut funding for the programs that serve DV survivors. Kentucky deserves better.

What’s false is Hegseth’s continued narrative that combat standards were somehow lowered for women. They were not. And for the SecDef to lie about that is a slap in the face to all women who have served in combat roles.

Hegseth claimed we need to “return to the male standard” in combat jobs, but there has never been a separate male and female standard. When women entered combat roles, one standard was set, and we’ve been meeting it ever since. You can either do the job or you can’t. Period.
