As a kid, my writing was often turned against me. I wrote my darkest thoughts about ending myself rather than doing it. The people "taking care" of me tried to silence my voice.
Well fuck that. I'm writing my stories now. There may not be happily ever afters, but there is truth. Authenticity.

I handwrote 3.5 pages of my current chapter today. Did I want to write more? Yes. Did life allow it? No. Am I still fucking proud of myself and frothing at the mouth to write again? Fuck yes.
