at any point ak!Jv & Denix could've teleported away to catch up with how the ghosts are back since this isn't their lore

but they were tagging along and genuinely encouraging the siblings (ak!Jv was RLY invested) as they read books, translate alphabets, and bang their heads against the wall 💜

so ak!Coreano DID see the table with cake earlier while working on the District extension, but he left it up bc he didn't want to take it down until he met up with Denix

so he pretended he didn't know when he saw Denix dashing wordlessly to the table, and his smile was so large anyway, FOFOS
