Embarrassing moment. Went to a laser technician, she saw my "Nevermore" tattoo and instead of first recognising it as Edgar Allan Poe or even Wednesday, she thought it was from Harry Potter 🤦♀️

As I develop as an artist, the more I appreciate Homer Simpson's line "these guys are geniuses. I could never think of anything like soup or a pencil". At first, it's just Homer being Homer, but to me, it says there's a skill to seeing the potential in something as mundane as say soup or a pencil.

I've also taken up Mandarin. And I learned that the nĭ in nĭ hăo and wǒ ài nǐ are the same word! Languages are amazing...

If anyone is interested in checking out the first adaptation of Tezuka Osamu's Tetsuwan Atomu or "Astro Boy", which is a live-action tokusatsu series which began airing in 1959, only 58 episodes of 65 are available, the rest are lost. I say this because I was confused for a moment.

I've seen people online criticise the whole "clanker" thing. I didn't think much of it, but then saw some young kids call an auto-vaccum cleaner or whatever a "clanker" and I now can't help but think that the critics are at least onto studying.
