Five years ago at the @qudev Lab of ETH Zürich we have reported on the first realization of a "Microwave #Quantum Link between Superconducting Circuits Housed in Spatially Separated Cryogenic Systems" coupling #qubits across a distance of 5 meters through a #microwave waveguide.

This is a beautiful place!
Do you know where this is?
And what I am here for?

A lot more research and development needs to be done to have large scale fault-tolerant quantum computers to become a reality. Small quantum computers, with all the functionality exist though to try out concepts and develop algorithms also for quantum error correction.

Looks like I will be taking an appropriate mode of transportation for a #quantum physicist on my flight from #IAD to #ZRH tonight.
Do you know who is advertizing this?

Looks like our Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics (or short Circuit QED) Review (@apsphysics.bsky.social American Physical Society, Rev. Mod. Phys. 93, 025005 – Published 19 May, 2021) got the first 2000 citations. At least that is what Google Scholar claims.

I think I took a photo of a two-level defect, also known as a TLS, at the QEC25 conference on #quantum error correction at Yale and @yaleqi.bsky.social today.
Are there any experts on superconducting circuits out here to confirm or deny?
