Dad. Deacon. Engineer. 61st Mayor of Atlanta.
Five years ago, Atlanta ranked 51st in the nation for park access. Today, we’ve reached our best-ever finish: 21st out of 100 cities. That kind of progress doesn’t happen by accident… it happens when a city believes every resident deserves access to nature, to community, to joy. Proud of Atlanta.

One of my favorite events of the year is back — and it’s bigger than ever. The 48th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival returns to Piedmont Park May 24-26, 2025, right in time for Memorial Day Weekend. And the best part? It’s completely FREE. So grab your picnic blanket, call your crew, and meet me there!

Sometimes, to get to the heart of the biggest issues, you’ve got to sit down and break bread. That’s exactly what I’m doing, with leaders from around the country, starting right here in Atlanta. Friday, I’m launching Breaking Bread, a new series where the conversations are raw, honest, and overdue.

Spent time at the City Council Chambers celebrating the Women of Impact Award and honoring the incredible women shaping Atlanta's future. 💜✨ As we celebrate Women’s History Month, it's a reminder that the work of strong, dedicated women continues to leave a lasting impact on our city.

Love looks like progress. Like protecting our youth and seniors. Like clearing our streets of gangs and guns. Like feeding the hungry and housing the homeless.

I love this city. And when they tried to split it, we fought back and kept Atlanta whole. When they tried to stop our Public Safety Training Center, we built it anyway. When they try to attack diversity & inclusion, we’ll fight back—because that’s our greatest strength.
