Gone a bit gothic for this year's book launch outfit. It's tonight!! I'm excited but also having my usual conniptions about whether enough people will show up...

Every flipping afternoon a loud, fat, hairy fly comes along and spends the last hour of my working day violently flinging himself against the window next to me. Today he has brought a friend.

I'm looking forward to the at the Bournemouth Romance Writing Festival on the 18th October!

As a Bringer of Death most of my characters end up in toxic relationships or being murdered so I'm looking forward to get insights into the art of happily ever after...

Wow wow wow thank you!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, especially as a non-Dickens fan. And you may just get your Christmas wish...

Also you read really quickly!

A day to remember! 🤩 1st time at @agathafestival.bsky.social ‬⁩with @vaseemkhanuk.bsky.social ‬⁩ & @andreinacordani.bsky.social ‬⁩ 🔎 A fab audience shared their passion for Agatha with us 🙏 organisers & volunteers, thank you - but especially the lady who creates her own cover art for my books 😍

That's freaky! I have a journalist friend who has the same name as a well known kidlit author and they have a mutual pact to forward on wrong emails.

I changed my email address about nine years ago and my friends and family STILL keep using the old one and then moaning when I don't get the message. It's enraging.

Just finished my first panel at @agathafestival.bsky.social and had a blast. Thanks for having me!

Guess where #TheKillerQuestion tour is today! 🤩 If you’re here too, I’ll see you at 5pm in The Spanish Barn, where @andreinacordani.bsky.social @vaseemkhanuk.bsky.social ‬⁩and I will be contemplating The Never Ending Golden Age 🔎🕵️‍♀️

It's weird how almost all the greatest British Sitcoms are about men being forced to share their lives with other men. Porridge, Dad's Army, Rising Damp, Red Dwarf, Only Fools, even The Young Ones. Fawlty Towers maybe stands out because of the female characters.
robinince.bsky.social
Fawlty Towers is relentlessly called “the greatest sitcom” in the press, yet far less love for Rising Damp which I think is a masterpiece

Damn that glitchy wifi 👀

I remember writing about it in a 'home of the future' article in the late 1990s and even then I wondered why people would want it.

I got a starred review!!! I love "gleefully demented stocking filler" so much!

We are filled with holiday cheer over this starred review of MURDER AT THE CHRISTMAS EMPORIUM by @andreinacordani.bsky.social in Publishers Weekly! 🎄🩸

★ Holiday magic goes horribly wrong in Andreina Cordani’s delightfully eccentric follow-up to 'The Twelve Days of Murder'. This canny combination of whodunit and horror makes for a gleefully demented stocking stuffer.

They're so pretty! Looking forward to lots of photos.

I just got tagged in a post saying that my YA thriller Dead Lucky is a BBC Radio 2 Book Club pick! Excitement! Astonishment! Nagging disbelief... followed by googling.
Sadly it's not my Dead Lucky, it's @connorhutchinson.bsky.social's Congrats Connor but blimey that was an emotional rollercoaster.
