There has been no apology, no accountability, and too many people - especially the most vulnerable, have been affected.

That is why the ACT Greens successfully moved a censure motion against the Transport Minister.
Today I moved a motion to censure the Transport Minister over the MyWay+ debacle.

A damning report revealed systemic failures under his watch. The world-class ticketing system that Canberrans were promised quickly fell apart, leaving people frustrated and confused.
In the ACT, I’m pushing a petition for the territory government to divest from Israel too.

As elected politicians with billions to spend in the annual budget, we must do everything we can to ensure that no funds are supporting Israel’s genocide.

This report confirms what we already knew - Israel is hell-bent on wiping out Palestine.

Every government around the world must stop the arms trade and impose sanctions on the Israeli government.

By allowing this deadly trade, Labor is complicit in genocide (1/2).

Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, major UN report finds
Israel has committed and is continuing to commit genocide in Gaza, according to the "most authoritative assessment" to date.

To Canberra’s multicultural communities - and to communities across the country - you have our full support today and every day. You are welcome, you are valued, and your contributions to our community and to Australia as a whole do not go unnoticed.
Our responsibility does not end at condemning racism - we must also be actively anti-racist, working to build a society grounded in unity, social cohesion and mutual respect. This is not only essential for the wellbeing of all Australians, but also central to creating a just and inclusive future.
Hate, fear and division have no place in our society. I strongly and actively reject this message of hate and reaffirm my commitment to standing with multicultural communities during this distressing time.
I unequivocally condemn the nation-wide anti-immigration rallies set to take place across Australia. The ‘March for Australia’ rallies seek to divide our community, but we know that diversity is our greatest strength, not a weakness.

For all those feeling despair, remember this: we are stronger together.

These rallies are making a difference. We are dragging Labor to do the right thing because they are getting scared.

Keep turning up to the rallies and join the Nationwide March for Palestine this Saturday.
Recognition won't stop the genocide. It won't give food to those dying of starvation.

Australia must sanction Israel. We must end the two-way arms trade.

Every day that Labor fails to do these things is another day they are supporting a genocide. There is no excuse.
On Saturday, thousands of Canberrans marched across Commonwealth Bridge to call for a Free Palestine.

On Monday, the Prime Minister announced Australia would recognise Palestinian statehood.

One thing is clear: people power works. This is a long overdue move and we have so much more to fight for.
Screens are not turning on, audio announcements are not working, and live tracking is unavailable. MyWay+ is broken.

We need your help - sign the petition through the link in my bio so we can put pressure on the government to finally fix this.
Very disappointing that morning frost delayed Light Rail services today. If cities like Calgary and Ottawa can run light rail in the snow, why can’t we in Canberra? Our community in Yerrabi deserves better #canberra #actgreens
The world must celebrate and remember Ali's legacy as we continue to fight for a free Palestine.

Inna lillah wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

On his passing, I think of Ali’s continued advocacy for the rights of Palestinians to live free from violence and occupation. I think of his criticism of the complicity of governments and the media in the face of the genocide in Gaza.

Ali campaigned throughout his life for the human rights of Palestinians. His diplomatic career was extraordinary, becoming the first Palestinian Ambassador in a number of places including Australia.

Over the weekend, we learnt of the passing of Ali Kazak, a proud and staunch Palestinian advocate.

I had the honour of meeting Ali several times. His presence and advocacy in Canberra alone was incredibly inspiring.

🌏Today in the Canberra Times, I called on ACT Labor to investigate bringing forward city-defining projects which will safeguard Canberrans from the potential job losses of a change of federal government.
