don’t worry, investors “at some point” will ask about the return on investment
CNBC article: "There's a lot of interest in capex spending and making sure that you're first or you have the ability to source the technology you need to grow profits in this new AI realm," Ameriprise's chief market strategist Anthony Saglimbene told CNBC. "Investors, at some point, will look at how much money is being spent and say, 'What's the return on investment?'"

ah yes, until AI no one in the financial sector thought to take a risk-based approach to lending that included adversarial thinking

Yesterday was the start of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. I'm sorry I forgot to say anything. You probably weren't aware of cybersecurity yesterday. Unfortunately you probably will become more familiar with it as October goes on.

When I was a grad student at Tech, the university rebranded to make everything look more like an app, and it cost like $1,000,000. Have to imagine there are a bit more moving parts here

Curious about the total cost of rebranding a Cabinet-level department

If only there were some seamless design solution that would allow restaurant patrons to quickly discern what items were on offer and their associated prices 🤔

This weekend, I played pickup soccer for the first time in like a decade. I was feeling self conscious about trying again after so long but finally decided to just give it a shot. I made a lot of mistakes for sure, and I can barely move today, but it was a lot of fun ⚽️

The more I work on knitting, the more it feels like the work I do with code. Algorithmic qualities, the recursive way stitches build rows/columns, debugging, decompiling and setting break points. Very interesting how one activity informs the other

This week at knitting club I learned to read stitches and unknit to correct mistakes, quite the rectangle I have going
