Iceland lies at 66 degrees North, and in the summer the sun only sets for a couple hours. This leads to protracted golden hours lasting 2-3 hours, and sunsets and sunrises last for a long time.

Abandoned building near a couple of decommissioned whaling vessels. Iceland is one of 3 countries that has yet to ban whaling, however, falling global demand has pretty much made the practice obsolete.

The Guardian; Saint Joseph, Michigan Inner Pier Lighthouse. This lighthouse has been guiding ships into our harbor for more than 110 years. Renovated 10 years ago public tours are available in the summer.
