I wonder how much of it is to do with how the audio is mixed for the various surround options we have now. Where do they put the dialogue in the soundstage and what happens if your player has to downmix it to stereo or whatever. There’s so many stages it can get messed up at.
But also, mumblers.

I run older Macs because they still work perfectly and run the software I need to run without problems. Give them a web page to look at and all of a sudden they’re struggling. When did looking at Google results get so processor intensive?

Dear BBC Radio 4 Extra. It’s pretty obvious that the programme from 1953 I want to listen to ‘reflects attitudes of the time’. I’m not bloody stupid and am more likely to be offended by the pish on Eastenders than Kenneth Williams being camp, stop playing to the lowest common denominator.

People who stop and flash you out of a junction, when there’s nothing behind you anyway & it would be quicker if you just carried on instead of causing confusion with your headlights and incomprehensible gestures. Why?
