Honored to join Senator Polistina in being named an ACCSES NJ Legislative Champion!

Advocating to make NJ workplaces more inclusive for our IDD community isn’t just good policy; it’s a moral responsibility. Thank you to all the advocates working to build a more equitable state!

Today marks the start of #BannedBooksWeek, an annual celebration of the freedom to read and the fight against book censorship.

This week, we’ll be elevating banned books that challenge ignorance, spark empathy, and remind us why the right to read is worth defending.

Congratulations to the Bayard Rustin Center on unveiling the Queer History Archive!

This digital collection honors the legendary life and career of activist Bayard Rustin. In the midst of efforts to erase our history, their work to uplift Rustin’s legacy can inspire and guide us all.

Happy to join Assemblymembers Freiman and Drulis in congratulating Hillsborough's Norz Hill Farm on receiving the Jersey Fresh Farm to School Farmer Recognition award!

By providing fresh produce to local schools, they’re helping build healthy habits across Central Jersey.

Walmart’s move to drop synthetic dyes and additives is a big step towards healthier food for all, but we can go further.

My bill S3016 would ban several of these and other additives from NJ's stores and schools. Let's make NJ a leader in bringing healthy food to every home.

New: WH says it has put about $18 billion in infrastructure projects in New York City on hold "to ensure funding is not flowing based on unconstitutional DEI principles." Russ Vought, the budget director, specifically cited the Hudson Tunnel Project and the Second Ave Subway.

The South Brunswick Public Library is undergoing major renovations to add new meeting rooms, group study spaces, more parking, and a 128-seat theater!

I enjoyed checking in on their progress to create these brand new community spaces for everyone to enjoy.

With energy costs climbing, we’re committed to being open about the root causes of our energy crisis and making sure community voices shape our solutions.

Thank you to Hillsborough residents who joined us to discuss rising rates and the steps we’re taking to bring costs down.

Congratulations to Raritan Valley Community College on opening up their brand new Workforce Training Center!

By training students in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and life sciences, RVCC is making a huge investment in the people of Central Jersey and our state's economy.

The New Jersey Big Data Alliance is bringing together experts across academia, industry, and government to make our state a leader in data-driven economic growth.

I was glad to join their meeting to discuss key issues like artificial intelligence and data center energy usage.

NJ PBS is a crucial source of information for New Jerseyans to stay updated on our work in Trenton and local news across the state. We can't afford to lose them.

I'm joining Senator Burzichelli in calling for a full analysis of how we can preserve PBS.

Shanah Tovah to all who celebrate! 🍎🍯

Wishing you a sweet, healthy, and peaceful New Year filled with joy and hope for the future.

Just like when I debated Jack Ciattarelli, the vision he showed tonight falls dangerously short of what New Jersey needs.

Our choice is clear. @mikiesherrill.bsky.social has the leadership and determination to deliver a safer, more affordable, and more resilient future for our state.

We haven't seen the science because there is no science.

RFK Jr. has relied on pseudo-science and conspiracy theories from discredited anti-vaxxers to guide HHS policy. These decisions are politically-driven, scientifically dishonest, and downright deadly.

former CDC official Dr. Houry: "I first learned that the secretary had changed our CDC covid vaccine guidance on an X social media post. CDC scientists have still not seen the scientific data or justification for this change. That is not gold standard science."

This week is Jersey Fresh Farm to School Week 🍅✏️

Thanks to federal funding cuts, NJ's Farm to School program is in jeopardy. Our students deserve fresh food, which is why I introduced S1637 to restore funding and put local farm produce back on school lunch menus.
