After finishing Tires, I'm trying to remember the last show that had such a huge leap in quality between S1 and S2. Its entire first season felt like a pilot, just showing a bunch of funny ideas, and then someone actually put them together correctly for S2.

For some reason I am extremely critical of Severance, despite liking it a lot. Maybe because I saw Homecoming so I know how much better it COULD be. Maybe it's cause I'm wary of any show that starts trending towards Lost. I dunno. But watching S2 is both immensely pleasurable & extremely frustrating
