Also while I'm playing Wilds, I cannot get over how fucking abruptly the game shuts down. No fade to black, no waiting for the save window to disappear, just instantly thrown back to desktop like those fighting game memes where it instantly cuts to the victory screen.

I'm getting back into Monster Hunter Wilds and I'm enjoying the actual gameplay part of it! Weapon swapping is neat, gathering doesn't take nearly as long, being able to do more base functions out in the field is great!
But then every story hunt is 5 minutes of assassins creed walktalk and hnngghh

I'm getting back into Monster Hunter Wilds and I'm enjoying the actual gameplay part of it! Weapon swapping is neat, gathering doesn't take nearly as long, being able to do more base functions out in the field is great!

I hate to have to do this two days in a row but my internet connection is dropping out a lot this morning and it's not possible for me to stream while this is happening. I'm bummed out man I wanted to relax and stream and get back in my groove but I guess that's too much to ask of the universe

Apparently River City Ransom Underground is getting delisted from steam but for whatever reason they're also going full black profile picture mode on the store page which I don't think you have to do when a product is delisted on steam???

It looks like Cygames is doing a Steam version of Granblue Fantasy in 2026 that's going to live in its own fresh ecosystem, separate from the existing game.
I can see them wanting more horsegirl money but it'll probably be too big of an ask for anyone with a well established account.

I love when I get offers for review keys and then when I check out the game it's covered in AI-generated trash. "We're a small team so we can't afford to make everything ourself uwu pwease understand 👉👈" nah dogg, small teams can make great things, you just don't want to put in the effort.

Very funny that this is still happening but it bears repeating for anyone in charge of review key distribution - 1000 average views on a youtube/tiktok video is not even in the same universe as 1000 average concurrent viewers on Twitch. Don't just slap the same number down for every metric field!

Finally found my first Measure offstream in FF12 and it made me wish the game had equipment gambits. There's a lot of cool stuff you can do with mid-battle gear swapping in 12 since it can be done at any time for no ATB cost, but it's cumbersome to do for every fight. Lemme program my dudes!!
