Out exploring the Booderee National Park on a glorious summer's day and encountered this lovely Honeyeater getting his calories for the day.

Always love seeing the pelicans down at the river estuary chilling out after a hard day harassing the silver gulls at the boat ramp. This is the Shoalhaven River estuary at low tide, looking west towards the setting sun.

How do you feel about this application of AI in photo editing? Using Nano Banana Pro and this prompt:
"make the background as sharp and in-focus as the foreground - as if this was a focus-stacked image". Output Image is 4K at 300dpi - zoom detail at 200%. #ai #photography

We still doing aurora? I bollocks'd the last big show - went out too late and hit up a local spot that turned out to be busier than Bondi on Xmas day. So this time I had a plan - an abandoned yacht on the river estuary. 25s exposure on the X-T4 - bit of dehaze and white/black not much else needed.

Pretty good guess as it turned out.

Some lovely sunrises and sunsets over the long weekend here in South Coast NSW. This was taken on Monday about 30 minutes before sunrise. I thought this driftwood looked a bit like someone lying back in the surf with an arm out-stretched. #surf #beach #sunrise #landscapephotography #australia

Certainly gonna piss off more than a few people if it is.

So what's the thinking then? #Canva are getting rid of the old #Affinity suite and releasing some new apps incorporating their tech? Given that they're now giving away the old apps, it sure does look that way.

Sunset last night was spectacular - like a golden flower of vibrant colours. It carried on for ages after sunset too - I was still on the beach nearly an hour after the sun hit the horizon.

Had my eye on this beached yacht since it washed up on the estuary and when I realised the sunset was going to pop, I headed down early to photograph it. Ironic then that this shot (a long exposure) was taken a full 50 minutes after sunset.

lol - it's definitely seven miles long. Stretches from Gerroa in the north to the mouth of the Shoalhaven River at Shoalhaven Heads. The river is normally not open to the sea so you can walk another five miles south to the Crookhaven River - so many people mistakenly assume they measured wrong!

Excire ran a photo competition that was judged by an A.I. Excire's CEO thinks their A.I. is 'subjective' and 'unbiased' - I categorically disagree.
