Vance: “Did he accept $50,000? Honestly George, I don’t know the answer to that question.”

If that’s the best talking point that White House lawyers could come up with to prep the VP for a Sunday show, I think we know what the real answer is. Release the Homan tape.

Vance: I’m sure that in the course of his life he has been paid more than $50,000 for services. The question is did he do something illegal.

Stephanopoulos: I’m asking if Homan accepted the $50,000

Vance: Is it illegal to take a payment for doing services? Low income women can’t get food

The problem that Speaker Johnson is trying to fix is that he thinks too many Americans have health care. That’s why he thinks gutting Medicaid and ACA subsidies means “fixing healthcare.”

Mike Johnson: "Republicans are the party that are fixing healthcare. We just demonstrated that in the one big beautiful bill."

A reminder that Russell Vought previously said he wanted Gov workers “to be traumatically affected. When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work because they are increasingly viewed as the villains…We want to put them in trauma.”

Many might not know this, but we just voted in Senate to finally repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq. It feels long ago, but Iraq War did so much damage in breaking our politics and global leadership that contributed to the complete mess we are in now.

A person like that has no business anywhere near the Governor's office. We need someone who will fight back for the people of New Jersey, not shower the President with straight A's as he tramples over our state. (9/9)

Jack Ciattarelli looks at nine months of corruption, chaos, and economic pain and comes away begging for more. (8/9)
andykimnj.bsky.social
And we haven’t even gotten to the illegal deployment of the military against our own people, turning our servicemembers on fellow Americans he calls an “enemy from within.” (7/9)
andykimnj.bsky.social
How about the historic corruption and profiting off the Oval Office?  Jack Ciattarelli thinks it deserves an “A”. (6/9)

And how those tariffs have hit New Jersey’s small businesses, forcing many to raise prices and take desperate measures just to keep their doors open? (5/9)
andykimnj.bsky.social
Or how about slapping on tariffs that wreck the global economy and drive up prices on everything from groceries to electronics? (4/9)

Does planning to use our joint military base to carry out an inhumane immigration agenda deserve an “A”? (3/9)

Does cutting $16 billion in funding for the Gateway Tunnel, and putting at risk the thousands of jobs and economic opportunities that come with it, really earn you an “A”? (2/9)

At last night's debate, Jack Ciattarelli claimed that Trump's second term is worthy of an "A" grade.

Really?

An “A” for shutting down the government because Trump doesn’t want to help millions of Americans afford health care. What else? (1/9)

We deserve better than the doormat. With just four weeks left in this race, let’s knock on doors, make some calls, and show up to elect Mikie Sherrill as our next Governor. (3/3)
andykimnj.bsky.social
On the other hand, Jack Ciattarelli only serves one person: Donald Trump. Whenever he's given the chance, Jack is clear that he'll be less of a Governor fighting for our families and more of a doormat for the President to walk over and hurt our state. (2/3)

New Jersey, our choice this November is clear.

Mikie Sherrill has dedicated her life to serving others, and I've personally seen her only ever put the people of our state first. She won't back down from the fight against federal chaos. That's the principled leadership we need in this moment. (1/3)

Happy Chuseok/Mid Autumn Festival on this beautiful full moon night! My family just finished a home cooked meal of family recipes. There is a lot going on these days, but still lots to be thankful for.

Absolute profile in cowardice by Speaker Johnson. While our troops and public servants are working every day without a paycheck, Johnson and Congressional Republicans are getting paid to stay home. This is shameful.
andykimnj.bsky.social
Just stepping out of the Capitol for the first time after Republicans officially forced us into a gov’t shutdown. It’s hard to step away feeling so angry. How is giving families healthcare they can afford our breaking point? I won’t give up on doing better by the American people.

Spending millions of dollars to fly generals/admirals from around the world to listen to Hegseth’s narcissistic rant the day before service members could get their paychecks withheld is the opposite of leadership.

A beautiful day in Palisades Park standing up for a brighter future. Thanks to everyone who came out and is spreading the word of how important it is we show up for NJ and for @mikiesherrill.bsky.social and Dems up and down the ballot this November!

The people of New Jersey deserve to know if the Ciattarelli campaign directly coordinated with the Trump Administration on this unprecedented leak of personal information to attack a veteran running to serve as governor. 2/2
andykimnj.bsky.social
Mikie served our country with distinction and honor, and this blatant illegal partisan attack against her is an affront to everyone who has worn the uniform. Our servicemembers and veterans deserve to be protected from political attacks on their privacy and service. 1/2

This is an illegal and dangerous weaponization of the federal government.

That Jack Ciattarelli and the Trump admin are breaking the law and exposing private records for political gain is a violation of anyone who has ever served.

No veteran's record is safe.

Archives errs in releasing too much of Mikie Sherrill's military record to her opponent in governor's race
The National Archives admitted a technician had erred in releasing Rep. Mikie Sherill's "entire record."

Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered virtually all of the U.S. military’s top commanders worldwide to gather on short notice — and without a stated reason — at a Marine Corps base in Virginia next week.

Here’s what we know:

Trump’s decision to cancel negotiations and push towards a shutdown is reckless. He has no interest in making sure government is working for families struggling from rising prices. All he cares about is his power and using the Oval Office to make himself billions of dollars.
Trump cancels meeting with top Democrats as government shutdown looms
New York Democrats Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries say Trump will take the blame for a federal government shutdown if a deal can't be reached.
