Nawrocki case and point. A significantly better defender than the likes of Trusty and Scales, even when playing in games when hes not played for months - he comes out on top. Thankfully we didn't sell him as when Rodgers fucks off in the summer hes got another chance.

Engels has another 5 years before he is at his peak. And can you honestly say Nygren is better than Engels? Rodgers has wasted players simply because they dont fit into his system rather than creating the system round the players that he has.

Playing in the attacking style of Ange for example would showcase his talent a whole lot better as we were fast paced, direct, and got in behind the opponents. Rodgers let's the opponents get all their players behind the ball before we attack hence why we are shit this year.

At 22 years old, Engels isnt at his peak. He is still learning his craft and to be honest hes in a team and a setup that doesnt play to his strengths. The tippy tappy shite that Rodgers plays wont show Engels at his best because by the time he gets the ball hes got 2-3 players round him.
