Felt like I should probably give the basics on all my main characters of the comic I'm working on, so here it is! Comments below will list the individual characters, but all of them are in the small village of Latterbrook, in a forest teaming with horrifying monsters in a dark fantasy world.

I think church would have been much more effective on me as a little kid if they told me heaven would be a supreme, all-knowing being telling everyone I've ever had an argument with that I was OBJECTIVELY correct ... or if they let me eat the "crackers". I really wanted to eat the "crackers".

Idk it's just such a wacky premise it's kind of a shame it both plays it very minimal while also ignoring the cultural landscape of when and why they became so popular and the actual historical, cultural, and music business changes as a result of their impact. It doesn't quite feel real OR fantastic

You can also have so much fun with it! Go full alternate history youtube channel with some insane shit. Maybe pop music went in a completely different religion, maybe it pushed for nationalism instead and punk rock was less left. Maybe the Berlin Wall never came down. Use exaggeration to emphasize

My main problem with this is despite all the reverance and love it clearly has for their music, showing almost no change makes it feel like the Beatles are culturally irrelevant when the world is basically not different without them existing.

My problem with the film #Yesterday is that it doesn't really show any meaningful difference in the world from The Beatles never existing. Like Ed Sheeran is in it a lot and his career is VERY dependent on the shift in the industry and pop culture following Beatlemania. More below 🧵

It's been really hard for me to find motivation. My health has been doing really bad lately and my mental health hasn't been doing good either. I've spent all the "best" years of my life in bed and in constant pain. I feel like I'm dying a very slow and easily preventable death and no one cares.

I really wish their were more music tutorials between "these are the notes in the major scale" and "how to mod quantized beats on this 40 year old yamaha" like I know what scales and chords and rhythm and time signatures are. I just want like guides on how to actually make something.

I hate how instantly everyone who said they weren't going to support any Metal Gear or Silent Hill without Kojima instantly folded like a house of cards on the FIRST peoject of each without him. It's just so disappointing how everyone keeps choosing corporations over artistic integrity.

Selling mystery/blind boxes has gotta be one of the easiest cons in the world, right? Like just get a bonch of cheap things, stick them in a box, and sell them for more than their worth, just for the person who buys it to get like (maybe?) One thing they actually like. How is this still legal?

The $50 dollar microtransactions for the new Skate, a game in early access is just straight up robbery.

You can get an actual skateboard are a real full outfit for the same price as you can pay $50 to turn your character into a walking digital billboard for a magazine you've never even read.

I've been drawing Elsie for a long time, she started out as a Henry Selick-esque young protagonist in a kid friendly horror setting based on a very old nighmare. Over time she became a 17 year old protagonist in a dark fantasy.
