There isn’t a universe in which Lonzo Ball should be taking more threes than Darius Garland.

That was fun for about two minutes.
Cavs have decided to start playing, and have cut the deficit in half. Defense has picked up and they’re getting to the line.

On a side note, I’d like Lonzo Ball to stop shooting the ball.

Down 16 to Portland, who played last night, the Cavs are getting booed by the home crowd.

I’ve seen some “Is this Rock Bottom?” headlines for this team, but there’s always a deeper bottom.

Cavs bench is a -34 so far tonight. Darius Garland hasn’t made a basket.

Mitchell and Mobley have played well on offense, but the bench is bleeding points with no ability to generate anything.

Nothing a 67-year-old man likes more than telling you how nice it is to be in a sauna on a day like today

(this is the 8th time in the last week I’ve been told this)

It’s really discouraging to have a Masters degree dedicated to public health and the country I live in doesn’t care about it whatsoever.
“This year, the CDC has effectively lost a quarter to a third of its staff. That's thousands of people. Programs that aimed to reduce smoking or cavities or gun violence were stopped. Workers trained to respond to radiation emergencies or to outbreaks that cause birth defects are gone.”
Months of tumult and waves of staff cuts take a toll on the CDC
After losing thousands of staffers and facing attacks this year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is hampered in its ability to protect the public from health problems and emergencies.

Jaylon Tyson called out the team and then put up 27 points on 10-15 shooting. Critical effort on a night without five rotation guys.

The Cavs finally have a dawg other than Mitchell.

Not a good start for the Cavs, to say the least.

Jarrett Allen and Dean Wade are active for #Cavs tonight vs. the Hawks in Atlanta. Craig Porter Jr. is out.

On a night where the Cavs needed him most, Evan Mobley took fewer shots than Na’Qwon Tomlin, Tyrese Proctor, and Jaylon Tyson.

Mitchell with back-to-back threes. Cavs are down 4 with 4:35 left.
The Cavs are missing a lot of their rotation and, predictably, appear to be running out of gas.

It’ll take a Donovan Mitchell hero ball game to win this one.

Absolute shooting masterclass from Brandon Ingram tonight. Cavs don’t have an answer.

Not a great final quarter for the Charge, who fall to visiting Grand Rapids 132-118. My recap, including interviews with head coach Eli Kell-Abrams and forward Miller Kopp.
Charge fall apart late, lose to Grand Rapids 132-118
Luke Travers looked comfortable and Killian Hayes shined off the bench, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.

That's the second time tonight that Killian Hayes lost his dribble. Leads to an easy basket and the Gold lead 120-110.
November 22, 2025 at 1:51 AM
Killian drills a corner three and then comes back down the court and eviscerates his defender off the dribble for a lefty lay-in. He's up to 19 points, but the Charge trail 100-94 with 38 seconds left in the third quarter.
November 22, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Luke Travers just hurt his hand going up for a layup. Got swatted pretty good and came back down holding it. Stays in the game though.
November 22, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Killian Hayes' three at the buzzer is short, but the Charge lead the Gold 61-59 at the half.

Luke Travers had a nice euro-step through three defenders toward the end of the quarter. The game looks like it's slowing down a little for him.

Unless I wasn't paying attention, it looks like they gave Emoni Bates' old number to the Charge's mascot, Fozzie.
November 22, 2025 at 12:47 AM
Went to a fair bit of Charge games last season, but new head coach Eli Kell-Abrams is way, way more vocal and active on the sideline than Chris Darnell was.
November 22, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Killian Hayes (!!) leads all scorers with 12 points at the end of the first. Finished the quarter with a deep step back three.

Charge lead 32-27.
November 22, 2025 at 12:28 AM
8-0 run for the Charge brings them within two, forcing a Gold timeout. Killian Hayes (!!) drilled a three, then had nice assist that lead to a three-point play.
November 22, 2025 at 12:20 AM
Rough start for the Charge, who trail 11-2 after three minutes of action. Poor defense and turnovers on offense have led to easy baskets for the Gold.

Are Darius Garland, Jaylon Tyson, and Jarrett Allen playing tonight vs. Pacers? “It looks that way,” #Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson said.
