I'm sick and tired of seeing these thugs terrorize big events and am worried that they will try to interrupt Limp Bizkit's set. My gf (F19) and I (M31) are going to our first Lollapalooza and are concerned about the growing threat around the city

omg 😭😭😭😭 im so glad im the one to bring you this news, 18 years later. 😆 i believe theres actually several live action adaptions of it, some korean productions too. but also heard its not that good? the japanese show is more or less a faithful adaptation of the manga.

it's kinda very alice in borderland in a way that it has games and intrigue but no one dies here so there's no focus on bodily violence (though definitely the kind of psychological violence people do to each other through deception)

themes, intrigue, and its inherent utopian impulse to believe in good. when i rewatched it a few years ago all i could think about it how much i loved the set design for the entire show. it was somehow very.. camp? it's kinda silly and colourful, against some of the darker-ish themes

alice in borderland has me giggling sometimes because it reminds me so much of probably one of my favourite japanese tv shows ever, Liar Game (2007). i'd really recommend it, season 2 as well

the minimum word count at my grad school for a phd thesis is 30k words (yes there's an explanation) and obviously there's not a whole lot of meaningful things you can say in 30k so I set myself to 40k to make the thesis manageable. it quickly grew to 50k and now I'm sure it'll be 60k by the end lol

the only game ive been playing lately (other than love & deepspace of course) is balatro and i finally won with the black deck after being stuck on it for like a week omg. the times i've cursed at these deck's runs lol
